Long Island based corporate and advertising photographer Charles Orrico, was born in Queens, New York. A graduate of New York City Community College for advertising design, and Pratt Institute for advertising and industrial design, he embarked upon his journey into advertising, as an Art Director.

Building on his experience as a Art Director of Ross Orrico Studios, he later embraced his fascination for photography. His approach to photography is a result of his years of experience and uncanny sense of color and design.

His award winning photography created for corporate, advertising, and editorial use speaks for itself. Orrico has won a myriad of awards, including DESI awards, ARC Annual Report Conference awards, Newsday Public Service Award/AIDS Campaign, Graphics, USA/NY awards, and consistent BOLI Awards / Long Island Advertising Club, for the past thirty years. He has also been recognized by the Press Club of Long Island – the Media Award, the Long Island Spirit Award / Printed Pieces, for his self promotion Calendar, and by Photo District News, for “Faces and Places”.

Published works include such clients as; Astoria Federal Savings, Audiovox, Avis, B&H Aircraft, CPM Publications, Dowling College, Farmingdale University, Fuji Bicycles, Fuji Film, Getty, Hofstra University, Marcum & Kliegman, NEC, Nikon, Parents’ Magazine, Porsche Panorama Magazine, Standard Microsystems, Studio Photography Magazine, Teleflex, Time Caps Labs, Twin Laboratories and Underwriters Laboratories.

Charles’s website, Autophotographics.com, features automotive images created for his passion of automobiles. When he’s not focusing on his photographic projects, he is driving / showing his 930 Slope Nose Porsche at various automotive events.

Charles served on the Board of Directors of the Long Island Advertising Club, and is a board member of the Long Island chapter of ASMP. He serves as an advisor and photographer for the “ Cruzin for a Cure” (Prostate Cancer Prevention Automobile Show). Charles has also been a guest speaker at various college seminars, on Photography.
